OFFICE ASSISTANT - PROJECT MANAGER
FULL TIME or PART TIME
Funk is seeking motivated Self-Starter to join the Funk Bowling Family to provide support for our Operations Team as directed to ensure that projects and objectives are accomplished. Must be willing to “roll up your sleeves” to assist with the day-to-day operations to include managing contracts, communications internal and external on various projects, ordering supplies, maintaining the cleanliness and safety within the office.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Answer incoming calls and greet guests visiting the office with professionalism and care.
- Perform administrative and office support, such as bookkeeping via QuickBooks, spreadsheets, CRM and maintenance of filing system.
- Coordinate scheduling and calendar management with Operations Team
- Assist Account Manager and Operations team in managing the customer experience before, during and after the sale.
- Perform all other duties and special projects as assigned.
- Skills needed to perform job successfully
- Willingness to learn new things.
- Experience with MS Office, especially Excel
- Telephone etiquette, attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks/priorities.

INSTALLER
FULL TIME
FUNK is seeking skilled trades people who want to be part of building Dreams and Memories. At Funk, we provide bowling products to our customers all over the world that create fun memories. Whether it is commercial entertainment center or private residence, they dream it, we build it, and you install it.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Learn from Master Installer with over 30 year experience building bowling alleys.
- Installation of complete bowling equipment package: foundation, lanes, bumpers, gutters, capping, pinsetters, ball returns, scoring, and seating.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe jobsite and remove all construction and other trash from jobsite.
- Skills needed to perform job successfully:
- Dependability
- Demonstrate high quality workmanship
- Ability to learn and work in fast paced environment
- Electrical and Communication wiring skills are a plus
- Willingness to travel: 75% preferred.
- Pay: $18 – $28/hour, $30 per diem for overnight, overtime available

IT Network Technician
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Worldwide planning, installation and service of the Funk IT-Ecosystem in bowling centers
- Installation of hardware components and cabling on site
- Coordination with customers, suppliers, programmers and other colleagues worldwide
- Responsibility for diagnosis and troubleshooting
- Creation and maintenance of documentation
- User support
QUALIFICATIONS
- Successfully completed training in the field of IT/network technology or electronics
- Relevant experience in a comparable position
- Excellent understanding of current technologies and network settings (switches, routers, wireless access points, controllers, firewalls, LAN, WAN etc.)
- Language skills: English

- Strong diagnostic and problem solving skills
Welder
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Creation of welding fixtures
- Welding of various assemblies
- Customized production of special parts
- Checking weld seams for fractures or defects
QUALIFICATIONS
- Ability to read written instructions and construction plans
- Good physical resilience and heat resistance
- Very good gross and fine motor skills
Technical Business Administrator
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Management of technical documents and drawings
- Preparation of calculations and quotations
- Collaboration with the technical team and external partners
- Maintenance of master data in the ERP system
- Interface between our commercial staff and technicians
- Support in project management
QUALIFICATIONS
- Completed technical apprenticeship or college degree
- Experience in document management, cost calculation and drawing creation
- Knowledge of SAGE or comparable ERP systems
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team
- Structured and independent way of working
Carpenter
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Production and assembly of wooden elements for the construction of 9-Pin and bowling alleys
- Collaboration with electricians, mechanics and other trades
- Quality assurance and documentation of the work
QUALIFICATIONS
- Completed carpenter apprenticeship or comparable qualification
- Professional experience in the field of furniture construction, interior fittings or comparable
- Craftsmanship and technical know-how
- Confident handling of woodworking equipment and machines
- Flexibility to realize project-specific special solutions according to drawings
Production employee
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Flexible work in the manufacture or assembly of various components
- Preparation of spare parts orders
- Quality control & functional testing
- Support for various specialist departments
QUALIFICATIONS
- Ability to read written instructions and construction plans
- Very good gross and fine motor skills
- Manual dexterity
- Motivation
- Willingness to familiarize yourself with new areas of responsibility

Project manager
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsibility for the successful realization of our bowling projects
- Coordination of projects between the sales, production and assembly departments
- Ensuring that customer requirements and our quality standards are met
- Adherence to time and budget targets
- Risk management and escalation management in the event of problems during the course of the project
- Close cooperation with the management
QUALIFICATIONS
- Completed studies in the field of industrial engineering, mechanical engineering or comparable training.
- Experience in project management and with modern project management methods
- Knowledge of dealing with customers and sales processes
- Good understanding of production technologies
- Fluent German and English language skills
Installer for electrical engineering / wood construction
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Installation of bowling and 9-pin alleys
- Troubleshooting and service
- Commissioning of the systems
- Customer training
- Repair and renovation of existing systems
QUALIFICATIONS
- Completed apprenticeship or work experience in the field of electrical engineering or wood construction
- Experience with system assembly or construction site work
- Willingness to travel
- Ability to work in a team
- Solution-oriented way of working
- Knowledge of English is an advantage
- A driving license is desirable
